The mission of IREACH is consistent with the protection of all human life and the
promotion of human dignity. As Pope John Paul II stated: "Where life is involved, the
service of charity must be profoundly consistent. It cannot tolerate bias and
discrimination, for human life is sacred and inviolable at every stage and in every
situation; it is an indivisible good." (The Gospel of Life, no. 87).
IREACH supports school choice and school vouchers such as Florida’s John M. McKay
Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Program, as a funding source for inclusive
Catholic education. The McKay Scholarship, which is unique to Florida, can be used by
parents of children with disabilities to pay for tuition at participating private schools
including religious schools. Several Catholic schools in Florida participate in the McKay,
and Catholic parents have been able to use this scholarship to fulfill their obligation to
provide their children with a Catholic education.
Inclusive Religious Education for all Children, Inc. (IREACH) is a 501(c)3 tax exempt
non-profit corporation created in response to the needs of Catholic children and
youth with disabilities and their families.

|“And people were bringing children to him that he might touch them,
but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he became indignant
and said to them, Let the children come to me; do not prevent them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:13-14)
